September 6, 2012 -- Parents are invited to the Special Education Department's Autism Information Night on Wednesday, September 12, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Elyria Schools Administration Building, 42101 Griswold Road.
The event offers a look at the full scope of services available from Elyria City Schools for children with autism. In addition, a resource fair offers information from area service providers, including doctors and agencies and organizations that are senstive to the needs of children with autism.
All parents or families interested in learning more about the autism services offered by Elyria Schools are invited to attend and should RSVP to metzkristen@elyriaschools.org or by calling (440) 284-8258. Childcare will be provided, along with refreshments and door prizes.
