Build the Dream, Shape the Future:
The Capital Campaign to Enhance the New Elyria High School

In the true Pioneer spirit, the Elyria Board of Education and administration, in partnership with the community, have launched an ambitious capital campaign: Build the Dream, Shape the Future, to seek private philanthropic donations to support enhancements to the Elyria High School rebuilding project.  This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Elyrians to leave a lasting legacy that will shape the future of education in Elyria for years to come.

Additional private funds from individuals, corporations, foundations and organizations are being sought to provide enrichment features to the building and grounds not covered by public tax dollars. Our goal is to raise an additional $1,556,708 in Phase I and an additional $1 million in Phase II that will allow us to make state-of-the-art enhancements to maximize educational opportunities for Elyria’s young people and the community for the next 100 years.

Caring and generous Elyrians and those invested in our community are needed to contribute to the projects and naming opportunities explained on this site. Contributions of any size are needed and sincerely appreciated. No gift is too small and every dollar given will be celebrated, recognized and used to improve the education of Elyria’s youth.
