Project Funding Overview
The total current Elyria High School building project budget is $69,522,777, of which $45 million is being funded by local taxpayers. The remaining $24,522,777 is being funded by a state match through the Ohio Schools Facilities Commission, as well as a Qualified Zone Academy Bond, a property tax agreement, and several other sources. Additional funds raised by this voluntary campaign will make what already promises to be a great new facility an even better learning environment for our youth by capitalizing on the local strengths of Elyria’s high quality academic programs and unique community partnerships.
