GATE service is being done in the classrooms this year. Identified students are cluster-grouped and the GATE teacher is co-teaching with the regular classroom teacher.
In language arts, students are reading short stories and using shared inquiry to discuss what they have read.
In math, students are participating in the Continental Math League and the online game, First in Math.
