Early Islam and Muslim Empires

Classes have already begun moving on to studying what life was like on and around the Arabian Peninsula at the beginning of the middle ages. They will be learning about how Islam began and how it spread. The students will be doing research using the IPads and text books, writing newspaper articles and writing diary entries from a merchant's viewpoint in order to synthesize the information they gather.
