Welcome to the Post-Secondary Option of Sociology offered through Lorain County Community College! This is an introductory college course that addresses the study of human behavior in society. Its primary focus is on the influence of social relationships on people's attitudes and behavior, and on how societies are established and changed. Some of the topics covered are culture, deviance, the family, social structure, globalization, social inequality, the mass media, race and ethnicity, socialization, religion, research methods, and organizations.
