Welcome to 8th Grade Language Arts!! LA concerns the processes of reading and writing, listening/visual literacy and oral communication. A bit of info about Ms. Ellis --- I am a lifelong resident of this area and have taught in the Elyria district since 1988. My certification is Reading K-12 and Elementary Ed. K-8. I earned my Masters Degree (Magna Cum Laude) from Ashland University in 1991 and have received around 100 additional semester hours. I have taught kindergarten, first, second and seventh grade Reading and eighth grade Science and LA. I am married to a fantastic person, have one son and two step-children. I enjoy reading, gardening /yardwork, swimming,walking caring for our three Great Pyrenee dogs and six cats and spending time with my family.
