Dear Northwood families,
I am pleased to report that Northwood Junior High is off to a wonderful start. Students are reporting to school on time and ready to go.
As teachers prepare meaningful lessons designed to ensure academic growth, our guidance counselor works diligently to assist students with social and emotional issues that may impact a student's ability to concentrate and focus during the school day. If your student is in need of academic and or counselor related support, please be certain to contact the main office for more information.
On Friday, September 19, 2008, we will kickoff our school-wide fundraiser. Students will have the opportunity to sell magazines and cookie dough to raise funds for school related field trips and academic focused activities.
Lastly, please encourage your student to stay on task and to remember the focus- academic achievement!!
