The first day of school is Tuesday, September 8, 2020, however the first week of school, September 8-11, will occur on a staggered schedule to allow for student orientation throughout the district and student and staff training. Students will be assigned to attend one day that week on a shortened schedule.
Students will only arrive at their scheduled times during the first week of school. More details will be forthcoming.
On Monday, September 14, students on the "in-person/online hybrid" model of learning will attend based on their assigned cohort group schedule.
All students, Kindergarten through eighth-grade, will end their school day one half hour earlier than typical to allow for their teachers to check in virtually with the opposite cohort of at-home learners. Elyria High School will follow a typical schedule.
