Video List Chili Bowl Bolsters Funds for School Trip
The Westwood Middle School Chili Cook-off and Auction was introduced as a way to help fund the school's annual trip to Washington DC for students who were unable to afford the cost. The goal was to raise as much money as possible so every student could attend. Westwood's first-ever chili match up raised nearly $20,000. Smells like success to me!

Students in Elyria High School's Science Olympiad program rewire and replace components on battery operated talking toys so the toys will work easily for children with special needs. Hard-to-push on-off buttons are replaced with large, easy-to-use pedals and switches so children who may have compromised motor skills can operate the toys more easily.
