Public Walk-in COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics in May in Elyria (at EHS), Lorain

 

 

The COVID-19 vaccine is now readily available for all Ohioans ages 16 and up and in May, Elyria High School will be a walk-in site for the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. Vaccine clinics will be held in Elyria at EHS and in Lorain at Lorain High and First Lutheran Church.

 

On Saturday, May 8, vaccines will be administered at Elyria High School and Lorain High School from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those being vaccinated may choose either the Moderna or J&J vaccine at this clinic.

 

On Monday, May 17, vaccines will be administered at First Lutheran Church in Lorain from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Those being vaccinated may choose either the Pfizer or J&J vaccine at this clinic.

 

Both clinics are hosted by Lorain County Public Health. These are walk-in clinics, no appointments or registering needed. There’s no cost to receive the vaccines and no IDs or insurance references are required.

 

Health experts will be on hand to answer questions. If transportation is an issue, First Call for Help at 211 will offer shuttle options.
