Elyria City Schools

Elyria High School launched an exciting job-shadow program this year for qualifying seniors, and seven students participated during this pilot year. On May 21, these seniors each conducted a 10-20 minute presentation in the Performing Arts Center followed by Q/A with their teachers. On Wednesday, May 22, 2013 the Elyria High School Varsity Softball team won the Division I District Championship against Avon Lake with a score of 3-0. The girls will now move on to the regional semifinal on May 30 in Clyde against St. Joseph Academy. The game in Clyde is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. and tickets will be $6. READ FULL STORY

The Elyria City Health District, located at 220 Chestnut Street, will be holding Child Immunization Clinics on the following dates: June 6 from 8:30-11 AM, June 20 from 1-4 PM, July 18 from 1-4 PM, August 1 from 8:30-11 AM, August 15 from 1-4 PM, September 5 from 8:30-11 AM, and September 19 from 1-4 PM.
