The Lorain County Special Olympics takes place at Mercy Health Ely Stadium on Friday, May 10, 2024.
Hundreds of athletes from dozens of Lorain County's school districts will come together at the stadium to compete in this exceptional event.
The event kicks off with an opening ceremony at 10 a.m. followed immediately by the track and field games.
Among the participating districts are Amherst, Avon, Avon Lake, Elyria, Firelands, JVS, Keystone, Lorain, Midview, Murray Ridge, Oberlin, Olmsted Falls, Sheffield/ Sheffield Lake, St. Jude, Vermillion, and Wellington.
