In August, students in kindergarten through eighth grade will return for the first week of school on a staggered schedule.
This will give students and staff time together in smaller groups to get to know one another and learn to their schedules and the routines of the school.
- K-8 students whose last names begin with A through G will attend school on Wednesday, Aug. 24.
- K-8 students whose last names begin with H through O will attend school on Thursday, Aug. 25.
- K-8 students whose last names begin with P through Z will attend school on Friday, Aug. 26.
All K-8 students will attend school on Monday, Aug. 29 for their first day of school as an entire group.
All Elyria High School students, grades nine through 12, will return on Wednesday, Aug. 24, without a staggered start.
Parents of students who are entering preschool this fall will receive a letter from their child's principal in August detailing their schedule of returning activities. More to come!
